Respect is my favorite RH album, mainly because it’s the album that got me into his stuff. 120 Minutes was running the video for “Driving Aloud (Radio Storm)” and I was intrigued by how different it was, compared to everything else. I ran out and bought it at Record Theater the next day. A few weeks later, Robyn guest hosted the entire show and played this one acoustically, and I would come home from school every day and re-watch it. I still have it on tape somewhere.

Next year (if we’re still alive), will mark my twenty years as a Robyn fan. Good times, people.
